How can news and audiovisual media be made more accessible to everyone? And what role can new technologies and AI play in this?

ALIA, in collaboration with OSAPS, invites you to the conference ‘Media Accessibility – Accessible News and AI Solutions for Media Providers’.

The event brings together media providers, experts, regulatory and supervisory authorities, and people with disabilities to discuss current challenges and concrete solutions for greater accessibility in the media.

Key topics include accessible news formats, subtitling, sign language and plain language, the use of AI and new technologies, and the accessible design of user interfaces. Practical examples and case studies will highlight where barriers still exist today, and which solutions are already being implemented.

Following the programme, there will be an opportunity for networking and discussion with speakers and participants.
