Whether you are affected by the law depends on several factors: whether you offer a product or service, the type of product or service, the date of marketing or conclusion of the contract, your role as an economic operator, whether you are a micro-enterprise or not, whether you are eligible for an exemption or not, etc.

What is your compliance deadline?

In principle, all products and services must be compliant by 28 June 2025. However, this deadline has been extended in certain cases.

Whether you are eligible for an exemption depends on several factors: whether you offer a product or service, whether making the product or service accessible would impose a disproportionate burden on you, whether the nature of your product or service would be fundamentally altered by compliance, whether you are a micro-enterprise, etc.

Do you need to make a declaration of non-compliance?

If your product or service does not comply within the specified time limit, you must, in principle, make a declaration of non-compliance. Whether this declaration is necessary depends on several factors.
