Approaching compliance can be daunting, given the amount and complexity of the information involved. But you've made it this far, and that's a good start.

So, before you continue, let's determine whether you are affected by the law. Take the test that applies to you. Remember that you may be affected by more than one product or service, or by both a product and a service.

Then you must first carry out an internal assessment to determine whether your product or service complies with the law.

The OSAPS provides a roadmap with all the resources you need for this assessment. The roadmap guides you step by step through your project and automatically generates documents that you will need, for example, for a declaration of non-compliance.

Use of the roadmap is voluntary. You are, of course, free to create and submit your own documents.
